Nutri10 Plus and my active kids
I recently signed up to try Nutri10 Plus sports active formula for my kids. I wanted to see if it would be better than the popular vitamin brand we’ve been giving our kids.
If you know our family well, you would have an idea of the level of activeness our kids have. We’ve got three of them and they’re all boys, so you can just imagine how much energy there is in our house.
Think Flash.
We appreciate their energy, really. I’m glad I read Wild Things, the art of nurturing boys by Stephen James and David Thomas because it helped us see and appreciate our children for the boys that they are and not be so panicky about their activeness.
Well, except when we’re at public swimming pools and beaches. I’m usually lenient with our kids, but it pays to be attentive to your children and to exact boundaries when it comes to deep waters. For me, matters of life and death are exceptions.
Anyway, what we do is take the kids to places where they are free to run around and physically explore. We try to support our kids in their physical needs and encourage them to be active. In fact, we happily take their pictures when they spider climb on our door frames and even play with them.
I’m a bit bruised when they jump on me but it’s fine, because that’s what they are. They’re boys and they’re active and they need their vitamins.
Nutri10 Plus has CGF which is a consideration for us since our pediatrician told us two years ago that our eldest son is suffering from malnutrition which causes his slow growth spurts. We’ve always thought it was only because Jay and I weren’t exactly tall. As it turns out, there was a huge need to change his diet and add more meat.
Although our pediatrician didn’t really recommend vitamins, we thought we might as well help our child along with his nutrition and included his brothers along.
So far, with Nutri10 Plus, we’ve been happy with the results and pleasantly surprised at some of the visible improvement in their performance. They’ve been eating better and are growing.
A few days ago I was shocked to find out that our youngest can now climb up the door frame which he wasn’t able to do with his brothers before because his legs were to short to reach both sides.
I’m not sure if it’s Nutri10 Plus that did that. All I’m saying is that it all happened while our kids were taking it.
Another thing is that I don’t need to buy Vitamin C because this one’s got it already. I’ve yet to road test how effective having Vitamin C in the cocktail mix is, but so far, we’re happy with the results.
Other active ingredients included in Nutri10 Plus are Taurine, Lysine, Palmitate, Chlecalciferol, Acetate, Thiamine HCI, Riboflavin, Niacinamide, Pyridoxine HCI, Cyanocobalamin, and Zinc Sulfate.
The flavor we got was Ponkan which was okay, I guess. The kids miss the taste of their Vitamin C but at least, with this one, they don’t have to take vitamins twice. That’s economical and I like that.
Nutri10Plus is manufactured by Novagen Pharmaceutical Co., Inc. for Wert Philippines.

Vitamins for kids are important to supplement their diet, but food they take is still what’s more vital. It’s great that there is an improvement seen in his performance after taking Nutri10 Plus.

It’s just so important to maintain a healthy active lifestyle for kids nowadays. They should never have their faces buried in iPads all the time! :O

very true, Jason. although iPads are not all that bad if utilised properly – using technology for information and knowledge which is what the web is all about anyway.

Vitamins are just supplements so we should not rely on them to create miracles. It is still proper nutrition with natural food that is more important.

I agree, Fred. We’re just trying to help our sons along with their nourishment with the vitamins. Thanks.

Just like other products, there are products that would suit us and what won’t. Maybe your kids were more “hiyang” as they call it with the Nutri10. 🙂 I remember my mom forcing me to drink vitamins but hated it! Haha! Now, I regret it because I lack height! Hahaha.
